A mid-morning notification telling you how far you went yesterday. You can turn these off if you don't want them -- but we think you might come to rely on them like we have. This is a free update. We used the latest research to build in calorie tracking that's personalized to you, how far, and how fast you walk.
Available as an in-app purchase. If you have trouble with this, open Steps and tap the gear icon to open and close the settings screen -- this should mitigate the problem.
We couldn't be more thrilled with the response to Steps so far. Thanks for using it! We've got several updates for you: Apr 30, Version 1.

Location This app may use your location even when it isn't open, which can decrease battery life. Family Sharing With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app. It counts the daily steps taken, counts and adds the daily distance, counts all flights of steps taken each day, adds all running total steps up for the week and gives you the total number, in an easy to read, simply no bogus step count!!
I wanted an app that did just this and trust me whomever downloads won't be disappointed.
You are in charge of your data.
But plan to continue to use and update the review if needed. Instead of making this app expensive for everyone to try before even knowing how it works or if it's the correct fit of an app for the individual, this apps creator has made the tip jar for a one time 1. Helps the app developer as well takes away the adds that may appear. However I never saw an add up to the point of doing the tip jar and still no adds!!
I have gone 45 days without missing my goal. I am a stay at home and I run miles a day. I try to keep my phone in pocket at all times. Would also love to have a sick day button. One time I tried to get at least 10, steps in with the flu and that was a big mistake. My bad decision though. A sick button would be great and also, if the app could identify a very active person and if that person misses two days in a row after making daily goal and then some for at least 20 days, the streak would not be broken. Thanks for the suggestions - and awesome job keeping your streak going so long!

Quick little bug fix update that includes: A little bug fix for a rare situation where pressing the export button can cause a crash in the app. Simply email the export file Export.
Your steps will be merged into the new iPhone's database. The merge process will keep any steps you have taken on your new phone. The last update included a little bug where the "Importing Data" dialogue could get stuck on your screen. More positively the last update included: You should see greatly increased performance when moving around within the app.
Just a few fixes in this one. Much to my surprise many of you have already reached your 10 Million step badge, so I wanted to add something else for you to walk towards. This update is all about taking advantage of the new abilities recently added to iOS and watchOS. This update brings with it two major features and a truckload of little improvements and tweaks.
Human - Activity Tracker on the App Store
You now earn badges for the steps you take and the floors you climb. These are available via the top right button from the main screen. My hope is that these will provide you with another source of encouragement and motivation to stay active. The widget you can access from the lock or home screen now includes a detailed graph of your current day's activity to show you your progress more clearly. Additionally, I've done lots of work behind the scenes fixing little bugs or smoothing over past issues. I hope you enjoy this update. I'm delighted to announce version 3.
This update unfortunately needed to remove the step-count icon badge feature. This update also includes a fix for an issue with resetting the alternative wheelchair icon, a Russian localization correction, and better display of missing days in the app. Thank you for your understanding. This update is geared around trying to tidy up a lot of loose ends and fixing lingering bugs. If you see anything else please let me know, I'm working on a pretty big update next and want everything to be nice and stable before that rolls out.
Whoops, a few little bugs slipped through in the last update which added Goal Streak Tracking. Thanks for all the feedback in helping me track these down. To start the year off right this update introduces Goal Streak Tracking to help keep you motivated to hit your goal each day.
How long of a streak of days can you get? This includes a mechanism for allowing you to have a single rest day each week where you won't break your streak just for resting up. You can turn this off in settings if you want every day to count towards your streak. Additionally, I also fixed a bunch of bugs with accessibility and the Apple Watch complication display.
